Home to the multi-award winning Campfire Gin, this first small batch gin distillery in Hertfordshire is situated next to Wilstone Reservoir, just a 15 minute walk from the canal.
Named Campfire because, Ben and Kate, founders of Puddingstone Distillery, have enjoyed their best gin and tonics outside and around campfires.
Puddingstone Distillery is open on Fridays and Saturdays - step through the distillery door and indulge in the aroma of gin, juniper and our other botanicals and see our stills Isabella, Annie and Amelia. There's no need to book, just pop along. They also offer distillery tours on some Thursday evenings.
For the quickest walk to the distillery, moor your boat at the end of the Wendover Arm. Head back to the last bridge and follow the road north. At the first junction, follow the road to the left and and continue to the bottom of the hill. The distillery is just around the corner at P.E. Mead Farm Shop - perfectly placed to stock up on some of those kitchen essentials while you're there.
